Korean, b.1980

The artist applies the drawing of traditional landscape painting to the act of recording and collecting in a modern sense. Through the act of observing, recording, and collecting the landscape of life, it expresses the utopia of modern people through work that pursues the utopia of spirit and material rather than the classic landscape painting that contains the spiritual utopia. Landscape paintings depict modern people enjoying landscapes, such as people taking pictures of beautiful scenery, people playing in the water on a tube, and spectators watching, but the shape of the mountain has a traditional painting technique drawn with ink. The artist's landscape paintings, overflowing with fun and exciting things, come to our five senses in our memories, giving us a unique experience with a variety of tastes and scents.
